work ok for me

Pros:
comfort
Cons:
expensive
Review Text:
I am 55+ years and asked my Dr about contacts to alleviate the need for progressive lenses, especially with outdoor activities. The first lenses I had were bi-weekly, but had problems and it was found I had some dry eye tendencies. It was suggested to move to the TruEye lens and I have also learned how to help manage dry eyes without using any drops. The TruEye is very comfortable to wear for most of the day (but not at work), although they sometimes get a bit uncomfortable after a long day. I am not able to use them at work as I sit in front of a computer screen all day and tend to get the dry eye issues. But evenings and weekends when I use them are fine and with no problems.

So uncomfortable

Review Text:
I've worn contacts for years (oasys) and loved them. Never had an issues. I've started wearing my glasses more so decided to switch to dailies because I'd open my oasys, wear them once and then not use them again for weeks. I thought dailies was the perfect solution. These lenses are a nightmare. Most days I can only wear them an hour before they are completely uncomfortable and blurry. There has been more times than I can count that I've went through multiple lenses throughout the day because one lense will become blurry and contact solution will not help it. These are TERRIBLE lenses, I will not purchase ever again or ever recommend someone wear them.

High Comfort - Low Quality Control

Pros:
high comfort all day
Cons:
low quality control - have to toss before wearing
Review Text:
These are the best contacts I have worn in 30+ years and I have been wearing Trueye lenses for about five years now. They are super comfortable and can be worn 12-14 hours per day without issues. My only complaint is that the manufacturing consistency and quality control is poor. I have to throw away around 15% of the lenses as soon as I put them in my eyes because they are not right. If you look closely at them before putting them in your eye, you can often see the edge is not quite round. Sometimes this makes them too uncomfortable to wear, sometimes not. You will also notice that some lenses feel thinner than others or are distorted. Sometimes they look fine, but it just feels like the wrong prescription. I wear -8 so I am extra sensitive when they are not right, but I expect no issues at this price point. Every time I throw away a lens without wearing it, I am throwing away money. Most lenses are fine so I know you can do it right, Acuvue. Please do something to improve your QC process! How about including 10 free lenses so your 90 pack is a 100 pack?

Used to be better as well

Review Text:
I am having similar problems as some of the other reviews listed. When I first tried these contact lenses, they worked perfectly. I liked the clarity of the contacts and they were the most comfortable ones compared to the rest (with a hefty price compared to the rest too). However, at some point in having the contacts, this changed. I have no idea because I can not find ingredients list to verify if anything has changed in the contacts. Using the contacts has almost been a burden lately. Sometimes they'll be so dry or irritated its hard to concentrate wearing them. My vision is blurry causing it to be difficult to use in work situation. I am constantly using eye drops and those don't seem to help either when wearing them. Sometimes taking them out and placing eye drops either on my eye or on the side contacting my eye helps. But it only helps for a brief moment in most cases. At the price that I pay for these and with how they've been performing, I wouldn't recommended getting this product.

Used to be better

Pros:
comfort
Cons:
durability
Review Text:
The last time I got these prescribed I was very happy with them, but I regret asking for them more recently. As others have stated, they begin to dry up and get blurry on days with a lot of wind and low humidity (very common where I live). It seems to me they do this more so now compared to the last time I bought them, so I'm guessing they were changed. Additionally, one in about every 20 lenses seems to be misshaped and not fit properly in my eye properly.

Not the best brand...

Pros:
no dryness
Cons:
cloudy
Review Text:
On a good day, my contacts will last me a good 8 hrs...on a bad day, I would have to replace them at least twice a day because they can get cloudy. And cleaning with solution doesn't work. That cloud just stays put. One day I had to change my contact on my left eye, 3 times within a 30 min. window. Was extremely disappointed because these contacts aren't cheap. Requested my dr. to change my brand.

Blurry Within an Hour and Uncomfortable

Review Text:
I was recommended these contact lenses to allow my eyes to breathe better. However, I had to go through so many contact lenses. Within an hour or so of putting them on, a white blurry film would come over the lenses. I would try taking them out and cleaning them off with contact solution, but the film would remain on the lenses. I had to throw so many contact lenses away. For the higher price point, I'm not sure these contact lenses worked so well for me.

Blurry Contacts

Review Text:
I've had these contacts for over a year, the first year I didn't have a problem with them except dryness which I find with every contact lenses because I work in the hospital. However this new batch I ordered I've had to throw away so many. I put them in and they are fine but then within a hour they become so blurry it's impossible to see out of them. I try to clean them off but there almost like a blurry film on them. These are way too expensive for this to be happening and I'm extremely disappointed. I can't wait for my next appt to switch out of these. I've wasted too much money on a contact I am only able to wear a couple of hours
