What are multifocal contact lenses?

Multifocal contact lenses give you the convenience and freedom of contact lenses by putting optics that correct near vision and optics that correct distance vision in the same lens. What is presbyopia?

Presbyopia symptoms occur when your eyes find it harder to focus on close up objects. It’s a normal part of aging that happens to everyone.

Do I have presbyopia?

Some people experience changes in their near vision for which they adjust, such as how they hold a menu in dim lighting or what font size makes the phone readable. If you notice these types of changes, tell your eye care professional. They can help with your diagnosis. Remember to ask about the different options they have.

How is presbyopia corrected?

Important information for contact lens wearers: ACUVUE^® Contact Lenses are available by prescription only for vision correction. An eye care professional will determine whether contact lenses are right for you. Although rare, serious eye problems can develop while wearing contact lenses. To help avoid these problems, follow the wear and replacement schedule and the lens care instructions provided by your eye care professional. Do not wear contact lenses if you have an eye infection, or experience eye discomfort, excessive tearing, vision changes, redness or other eye problems.
