Sensitive Eyes

Review Text:
Please don't ever discontinue these contacts! I have very sensitive eyes and have a reaction to the Acuvue Moist contacts. But these contacts are amazing! I can't feel them at all, even by the end of the day.

Thank you for writing this review! We’re so glad you enjoy using our 1-Day lenses. But we wouldn’t expect you to have a reaction with our other lenses. We’d like to learn more about your experience. Please give us a call at: (800) 843-2020. We're available Monday through Friday, from 10 AM to 5 PM (EST). We hope to hear from you soon!

I love them!

Pros:
Clear vision
Cons:
can be costly
Review Text:
I have been wearing contacts for more than half my life now, and Acuvue is my favorite- hands down. I have tried other lenses, wanting to see what else was out there (no pun intended) and I always come back to Acuvue. A friend of mine switched between glasses and lenses regularly, and, because I cannot relate to that, inquired as to why that they did it. They told me "some days the lenses just won't go in or aren't comfortable, ya know?" No, I did not, because I wear Acuvue. I have very sensitive eyes and recently, due to a side effect of medication, have had to switch to 1-Day lenses. The price increase is steep with all brands, so I tried 5 different brands with daily disposable lenses. Again, no contest. No contacts fit me as well or are as comfortable as Acuvue. The only down side is the price, which I wouldn't say is outrageous, but I did have to re-work my budget a smidgen to allow for these. I would consider myself to be frugal, but eye care and comfort is not a place to cut corners.

Worst contacts EVER!!!!!

Cons:
Hard to handle
Review Text:
If I could give these contacts a zero rating, I would. I have worn contacts for almost 20 years and these are, by far, the worst yet. I do not know if I got a defective batch or what, but I have tremendous trouble trying to get them into my eyes. They do not ever feel comfortable, dry out extremely quickly (even after rewetting drops), get blurry within hours of putting them in, and are a complete nuisance. More often than not, they move around in my eye (you know how it feels...that make-you-want-to-claw-your-own-eye out feeling when an eyelash gets stuck in your eye), they pop out of my eyes and I have to try out a new pair or just go with my glasses. Very inconvenient! I would not recommend these things to anyone!

Poor Packaging

Pros:
Clear vision
Cons:
poor packaging
Review Text:
I have been using 1-Day acuvue lenses for about 7 years now. While I am mostly happy with the fit and comfort of the lenses, I have noticed recently a change in the packaging. You have to be very careful when tearing apart the inidividual contact packets or you will accidentally tear them both open and waste a contact. And as they are not inexpensive, this is quite annoying.

Best lenses ever

Pros:
Great for allergy sufferers
Review Text:
These contacts are a life saver! I sensitive to many solutions, and when the doctor suggested the 1-Day Acuvue in lieu of using the cleaning solutions, the problem was solved. Comfortable for all day and night. I would highly recommend to all!

Love 1 - DAY Contacts!

Pros:
Great for allergy sufferers
Cons:
cost
Review Text:
I know looking at the price of the daily contacts can be hard to handle, but this is the best thing I ever did. Not only did I not have to buy solution, have a case handy, or deal with any enzymes, they are super comfy. If I ever have a hard day and they are bothering me I don't feel bad throwing them away or even putting in a fresh pair! They are awesome! I am super sensitive to everything including advancements like hydraclear, Acuvue has always been my #1!!
