I had bad luck with this lens

I am prone to getting a dry eye or two and this lens didn't help with that at all. Moreover this lens often produced flawed lenses. I in every 2 pair that I tried on was blurry. I assume damaged in the manufacturing process or too sesnetive to the way I handled them. I would strongly suggest you look in to Acuvue Oasys Hydraluxe. these lenses feel like heaven and so far have not produced a single flawed lens. They are a bit thicker than my Acuvue moists but you don't feel a difference.

The name says it all

I used to wear monthly contact lenses, which were okay but it was frustrating having to clean them constantly. I could barely go 2 hrs without having to take them off to clean them. So I decided to try the 1-day Acuvue Moist Contact Lenses. I absolutely love them, I can go longer than 10hrs without my eyes getting irritated or dry. I also like that I don't have to go through the hassle of cleaning them before/after use. I just toss them out after one use and that's it. Daily disposables turn out to be more expensive long term but these here are worth it. Extremely happy that I switched to these.

Inconsistent Shape

Had the 90-day of these specific lenses. As a daily wearer, these lenses definitely felt different from day to day. Half of the days, I find myself checking if my contact is inside out (usually never the case) because they feel like they do not form well to my eye. This results in annoying discomfort that does not go away. On very important days, or days where I know I won't get a chance to check in a mirror/bathroom for several hours, I have to resort to wearing my eyeglasses as I cannot trust how these contact lenses would feel throughout the day. Looking forward to trying another contact lenses product.

Terrible

Review Text:

I switched to daily lenses thinking it would make my eyes more comfortable but was I wrong! These are so inconsistent- I go through at least 4 a day because they either feel so unconditional, are blurry as soon as you put one in or just fall right out . This will end up costing me much more since I'll be done with a year supply in probably 6 months . Been a contact wearer for 25 years and never had an issue with contacts until these.

Frustrating lenses

I've been using Acuvue daily lenses for a few years now, generally very pleased with them, despite the very rare instances of flawed lenses. Until this year. I have had to throw away so many lenses straight out of the box for a number of reasons: Lens is curled so tightly that despite very gentle handling, they warp when unraveled and cannot be used. Lens is wavy around the rim, and never fits evenly over the cornea, creating a "lash in the lens" feeling. Lens has microscopic tear on the rim, making them impossible to wear. Lens becomes warped after turning them to get the correct shape. I am so upset by this...yesterday, I wore a lens that was warped, just before getting into my car to drive for an hour and a half in extreme discomfort till I could get to a bathroom to discard both lenses. I had to drive back without any vision correction whatsoever. Thankfully, the rout was familiar and I did not have to see well enough to read road signs! Ps. I have been wearing soft and disposable lenses for well,over twenty years and have the necessary skill to handle lenses delicately and effectively.

Paid so much and cant even enjoy them.

I thought that switching from monthly's to dailies it would have been better for me. I paid so much even after my insurance covered SOME of it. I am not upset but I am disappointed. I now have a 6 month supply that will now be a waist for me. I'd rather wear my glasses which I do not care for. I miss wearing my contacts all the time.

Are they inside out?

I have read some reviews that talk about the lenses as being uncomfortable or having many flawed lenses in the box. After talking with my optometrist about the lenses being uncomfortable sometimes, he told me to hold each lens up and look at the side view to make sure it is not inside out. It should be a perfect cupped shape. If there is a little flare on the edges, it is inside out. It is a subbtle difference. I played around with one turning it back and forth until I learned to recognize the difference. No more problems! Occasionally a defective one will show up. But it is very rare, in my experience. But I am glad I learned they have an up side and a down side.

I love Acuvue Moist Contact Lenses

I have been wearing Acuvue Contact Lenses for almost 20 years! They are always moist and feel so good in my eyes. They are comfortable and have been giving me clear vision! Never again do I have to push up my glasses on my nose! Never again do I have a mark or an indentation on the bridge of my nose, that looks so unsightly! Thank you Acuvue for all you do!
