Better than my others!

Review Text:
I used to wear monthly contacts before Acuvue Oasys...and I hated them. They were supposed to last a month and after 2-3 weeks they made my eyes so dry that they became blurry and I couldn't see! So I switched to Acuvue Oasys and haven't looked back (no pun intended) since. :)

Dry out quickly

Review Text:
I am having a tough time with these contacts drying out after about 1 week of wear. On Saturday I put new contacts in. On Monday they became very uncomfortable. I took them out, placed in solution and put them back in. Still uncomfortable. Took them out again, TORN. How is it I can spend so much money on contacts and the quality is so poor?

Something has changed for the worse - dry irritated eys

Cons:
dry irritated eyes
Review Text:
I have used this brand of contact lenses for many years and something has changed. The contacts become irritatingly dry after only one week of use, even though it says they should be good for 2-weeks. In the past you could stretch to 3-4 weeks with frequent cleaning. Very disappointed that the quality of these contact lenses has deteriorated, especially after purchasing a one year supply. Wearing them now and they are very uncomfortable.

Thinner and dry out faster

Review Text:
I'm like everyone else.. I have used these for years and now I find I am replacing every two days because they fold over, are uncomfortable, and dry out.

Too fragile

Pros:
clarity
Cons:
easily tears
Review Text:
I like the feel and clarity of these lenses, but I find they are constantly tearing after a few days, which makes them rather expensive!I have worn contacts for 40yrs. so I know how to insert them.I'm going back to the Acuvue2's.I end up with so many extra lenses, due to tearing,so they are just not cost efficient.

Best Decision

Pros:
good contact lens with substance
Cons:
none for me
Review Text:
I needed a lens with substance to provide me clear vision atnd to be able to withstand my long work hours. I was a Softmate B contact lens wearer of 33 years before they were no longer produced, and I had to make the switch to a disposable lens. I had tried before, but the thin disposable lenses didn't work for me, and I kept going back to Softmate B. I wear my lenses several hours a day. When I knew that a switch had to be made, I feared there would be nothing out there that would work for me. My opthamologist suggested that I try Acuvue Oasys, but I was skeptical. I read online reviews, and if I had paid attention to the negative reviews and not the positive ones, I probably never would have even tried these lenses. I tried them, and I knew the minute that I put these lenses in that these were the lenses right for me and probably others who are long-time vial lens wearers. I normally don't write reviews, but I wanted to let others who may be in a similar situation know that you should give these lenses a try. I have been wearing these lenses for nearly 2 years now, and I purposely waited before writing a review so I could give them a fair evaluation. I have never regretted choosing these lenses. I don't think you will either if you are a former vial lens wearer. I got great advice from my doctor and feel this was the best decision for me. It may be a great decision for you too. Try them for yourself. It was better than I expected, and I often wonder to myself now why I waited so long to make the switch when a superior product like this was on the market. I believe that you will be very happy and satisfied with Acuvue Oasys 2 week disposable lenses.

Acuvue promises a rebate so you will buy their product. I submitted all they asked for then they refused my rebate, Did not give me a reason why. This is the last time I buy this brand.

This brand used to be great

Review Text:
I used to be able to wear these for 4 weeks if I wanted to. Now, I've had three of them from two different lots rip after just a few days each. I never even notice they're ripped until the morning after it happens and it's really a nasty surprise. Contacts are a major expense for me, so I can't afford them to be inconsistent.
