Acuvue maximum power for Myopia

Dear all, I"m wearing Acuvue OASYS 2 weeks contact lenses since 2008. I saw the maximum power for Myopia is -12. May I know why don't you have stronger model because now, I exceed -12. Please advise. Thanks

Change in quality

I have worn acuvue contacts for years and always loved them but within the past year or so 2-3 out of every box are so distorted that they can not regain their shape. I don't know what has changed but the quality feels to be not what it used to be.

Poor Quality Control

I am disappointed in the poor quality control. I recently opened a pair of contacts and both were rippled and unwearable. I opened a second pair. One lens was perfect while the other one was slightly misshapened and uncomfortable to wear. This happened twice with my 2015/2016 supply and has happened to about three or four lenses this year in my 2016/2017 supply. I am a long time wearer of the Acuvue Oasys 2-week lenses, but I do not plan to continue being a customer.

Horrible quality do not buy!

over 1/3 of lenses Ripped and or chipped right out of package or after a day of use, These are 2-week lenses not dailys. These sort of numbers are unacceptable. They've all been on the left eye. My wife has 7 lenses left for her right eye now and none for her left.

Extra fragile, poor quality control

I've recently switched to the Oasys lenses when another type was discontinued. These lenses are very fragile, tearing easily, sometimes after a couple days wear. I've been wearing contacts for 20+ years and these are by far the least satisfying ones ever. Will be consulting my doctor for an alternate.

New to lenses

I have just got to the point of needing contacts, I spent 3 months trialling different kinds, these won hands down, incredibly comfortable, to the point I forget there there! And vision is absolutely fine whilst wearing and I wear them on a work day for anything up to 14 hrs with no problems.

Misleading product namer

These hardly provide clear vision. I just switched to these a few months ago and have been having problems ever since with blurry vision in one eye or the other. The contact becomes blurry after an hour at times and sometimes after two days. Don't recommend switching just because your doctor tells you they provide more moisture for your eyes. Total waste of money for a year's supply
