Looking at a digital device for too long can strain your eyes. When you use a digital device, your eyes have to focus and refocus as the screen changes.
Long days in front of a screen can be hard on your eyes.
Some signs that you’ve been looking at a digital screen too long include dry eyes, headaches, and blurred vision.
Here are some tips to help keep your eyes comfortable in front of the computer:
Make sure to follow the 20-20-20 rule to give your eyes a break: look 20 feet away for 20 seconds, every 20 minutes. Also, keep your computer screen 20-28 inches away from your face and slightly below eye level. And always remember to blink! If you need vision correction, schedule an appointment with your eye care professional.
